What is a ‘screenreader?’
Tech that reads allowed text content in an AI voice or sends data to a refreshable Braille display. A screenreader also helps blind folks navigate around the landscape of websites, apps, and documents.
What is ‘Alt Text’?
Text that is hidden in the meta data of an image. This text is primarily used to describe the content of the image with use of a screenreader. Sometimes people will include secret messages in the Alt Text of an image.
Figure out how to use the screenreader native to your operating system:
MacOs. Apple iOS. Android. Windows.
